My good doctor friend that I spent a lot of time with told me about my concern that our 90+ year old neighbor was not taking his medication as prescribed by the VA. His reply was ''he didn't live over 90 years because he was listening to doctors''. Doctors are kind of limited in what they know about you in particular vs. what you know about yourself. And they have limited protocols that most follow and they are scared to death about off label use of a medicine even if they know it works or at the very least is harmless. If we listen to television or radio we constantly hear about lawsuits concerning FDA approved medicine killing or harming people.
