I’d have to go out to the shop to check my notebook to be exact on charge weights but I pretty much just use whatever powder I can get ahold of that is in the right burn rate range. I know I’ve used at various times TAC, Lever, CFE223, 4895, RL10, 748, 335, and lately Shooters World Rifle Match. I’m not worried about bug hole groups. 95% of my shooting is inside of 200 yards so when I try a load of the brass looks good and I can put the first three inside 1 1/2” or less I usually don’t worry about it. I don’t fret BC numbers for the same reason.

I want reliable functioning in my AR and predictable bullet performance for shooting pigs in the brush.

In my bolt gun I do fiddle a little more but it’s been easy to get to shoot with any bullet I’ve ever put much effort into.
