For you fellers using the 69 or 77 grain tipped bullets are you killing mature deer at ranges of under 50-75 yards?
I haven’t tried tipped heavies, but the 75 gr Speer Gold Dot is good at any range. It’s affordable (when available) and accurate too. It’s my favorite bullet in 223 and 22-250.
