40 vmax has not missed a lick in pigs and deer out of 223 this year. Other than running leg hits etc.. it breaks backs, blows into lungs, penetrates skulls etc.... Generally 100 yards or less distance wise.
That said its illegal to kill big game in TX with a 22 rimfire so I can't post pictures of anything like that. They do kill pigs quite well though.
