The Mountain Rifle's sister rifle........the CVA Frontier Rifle......was less frilly. It had a 28" barrel. Only one wedge pin. No patch box. I actually have the very first one ever made. Serial #0000001 It was made in 1976 and presented to CVA's head of QC/QA. It's not your typical Frontier Rifle. It's never been fired.
