You boys are off to a better start than me. Got to the woods, and was hunting by 7:30 am. Over the course of 4 hrs., I saw 4 squirrels, got shots at 3 and killed 2. Unfortunately, the second on fell straight out of the tree and rolled down a steep hillside, and I lost him. . So the day ended with one...but it was a head shot. It'll be a long season, and I'm taking a buddy hunting tomorrow, and I think I'll hunt Sat. if my back/feet hold up.
he looks like a fox squirrel in the pic, but it was a gray. Had a helluva set of family jewels on him.
