Did something neat to my H&R Sportster. The trigger pull was crisp and clean, but at 5 1/2 lbs. At my gunsmiths suggestion, I bought an aerosol can of liquid graphite, and completely soaked the trigger area. When it dried, I dry fired it with a snapcap in the chamber, 15-20 times. Then, I cocked the gun. While holding the hammer all the way back, I squeezed the trigger as hard as I could for a few seconds, then let it back down. I repeated that about 20 times. Took the rifle back to the gunsmith to have the trigger checked again, and it came out at a very clean 2 1/2 lbs!

To say I was a happy camper, is an understatement!
