Wow, I was also looking up 41 Keith's posts late last night - but I missed that one. I really became better acquainted with 41 Keith through a mutual friend. The three of us then hunted together for several years - and we became close friends.
I was thinking about 41 Keith whilst anticipating RJM's coming through North Dakota here to visit - If 'Curt' was still with us it would be perfect ... but in a way, he still
is! It was 41 Keith who told me about the Campfire - and RJM - and the 41 Magnum! Because of Curt's interest in this venerable caliber,
I acquired two Marlin 1894 SS LTD, 41 MAG, Lever Action Carbines. One was going to be his through a trade or purchase ...
But anyway we shot his! And mine is still unfired.
