In a big box store I overheard the 'genius' clerk telling a customer that you NEVER wanted to use bronze brushes in a rifle barrel as the bronze, being harder than steel, would 'rub the grooves' out of your rifle.
When the clerk left to go find some nylon brushes I walked off.smh
