As to the real topic, there's a local BSer who once told me he was hunting horseback and saw a group of elk out in a flat. He allegedly spurred his horse on, catching the elk off guard enough so that he rode right into the group of fleeing elk then pulled out his sidearm and began firing - killing 4 or 5.
