I agree! First place I look for a firearm is Whittakers. I had the pleasure last summer of making a special trip just to see the old store. I drove half a day as an excursion from a business trip. It was worth the drive, just to see all the goodies they have.
I've turned a few friends and relatives onto the whittakers site, and this year with free shipping-- HOLY smokes, as a group we are buying more and more.
The store visit cost me a bit as I bought them out of all of the 17 fireball umc bulk packs they had. I'd do it again given a chance to see the new place. I almost bought a few sweet rifles. I slowed my roll though due to the logistics of the trip. Since then I've just ordered them online.
Tough to please a wild bunch of gun loonies. I'll keep hoping that 2019 SHOT show barrett announces a 6.5 prc. or elk caliber besides the '06 or swede.
