For me it's a question of balance. I prefer a weight forward rifle. Anyone can remove 2 or 3" of barrel if they want, but it's not especially easy to grow those same 2 or 3" on. They're using the same no.2 contour on the LA Fieldcraft, why not have just kept it the same 24"?
I generally agree. And also, to me, shorter barrels don't point as well either.
So is this "special" a reality & a go, or still just hypothetical & talk as this point?
Been considering a Begara which is the barrel length I like. but is a little heavier, overall, than I was hoping for.
