Just a note on contour. I was curious why the Barrett feels similar to the Montana, yet has a smaller barrel diameter at the muzzle. Turns out the Fieldcraft barrel is thicker than the Montana all the way to the 20” point of the barrel. It just has more of a taper so ends up a tick smaller at the muzzle. I don’t have them both separated to actually measure the balance point, but I’m guessing they are nearly identical.
