Difference in people because I can't think of a single reason I would want more than 20" in one.
You don't think there's any reason to take advantage of the extra velocity? I can understand that in some situations it just won't matter but if I was only going to have a 20" barrel,I would think the 308 would make more sense than the 6.5 Creedmoor.
I don't see where increased recoil and decreased BC would make more sense, but to each his own. My Barrett Creed works pretty darn sporty...

What I'm saying is that the reason I would want a Creed would be to take advantage of the higher BC,so I don't see why I would then want to remove some of that advantage with a shorter barrel. I would only go 308 and shorter barrel if I wanted to shoot shorter distances. What's the barrel length on yours Tanner?
