A reason many people are so afraid of it is because it contains nanoparticles. They've heard on the web that it contains tracking devices and immediately Star Trek and the Borg enter their minds. They think a nanoparticle is some kind of tracking device, a mini machine. They've watched Seven of Nine a hundred times referring to those nano devices in the blood. They don't know that nano is nothing more than a unit of measurement, 1 billionth. Our bodies are full of nano sized things. Every cell has them. That part is nothing more than paranoia and lack of knowledge.
There is a more real thing that could happen. Whether it does remains to be seen. It's possible that Biden & Co. could require the vaccine for anyone receiving any government benefits...like social security and medicare. If it comes to that, they might have the power to force us older people into either compliance or poverty.
My son is a reg. nurse in Seattle. He got it, like it or not. He had no side affects so far. He said it's great to be back to work full time. A lot of his work recently has been doing triage from home, however that works.
