Let me give an example of how stupid these "health care professionals" are today. Two weeks ago, first week of school ends. Youngest is sick as fugk. Fever like a mofo and her throat was hurting. So we take her in for strep.
Nurse: "We tested for COVID and influenza as well."
Flave: "Why?"
To see if she has COVID or flu.
OK. Why?
So we can treat her if she does.
How would you treat her differently if she has the flu or COVID?
Well then we know.
We know what?
If she has either.
I'm not trying to be rude, but if a kid has a fever without flu or COVID, she has a fever with flu or COVID. Nothing changes.
Well, but then we know.
NO, you don't know anything of substance. It's going to be the same treatment for the same symptoms.
Well then why check for anything?
Because strep gets treated with antibiotics that she will need. Colds and flu do not.
I'm going to check in with the doctor and I'll be right back.

We schooled hard on our kids that were sophomore and junior that they are not to ever let anyone test them for covid. No matter what anyone said. Do not allow yourself to be tested PERIOD.Because so many nurses etc in that situation had been brainwashed to test, test, test.
