My opinion,...duck hunting doesn't create any more conflict than many other activities you can name. It's just that duck hunting is typically done with 12 gauge shotguns.
People who get in a quarrel over a game of badminton get spanked about the head and shoulders with a badminton racket.
People who get in a quarrel over duck hunting shoot the fug out of each other with 12 gauge shotguns.
