The CDC link references a monograph that points to a couple of studies, but those look like they are relying on correlation. The rest of the CDC references are about how marketing influences cigar smoking rates among kids, or the effect of bans on rates, etc. It starts off assuming cigar smoking is harmful and goes from there.

Tobacco use does cause problems, but there is a big gap between saying that and it being scientifically proven that is causes cancer. There is nothing in those links that comes close to that, or even tries.


Do your own research. Smoke if you like. Rush did.
