Savage 99, re-barreled in 450 Bushmaster, Swaro 1.5x6x42 scope. I can't imagine a more perfect South Texas brush gun that when paired with handloads using Bear Creek Ballistics Bullets is super accurate as in one 5 shot large hole every time at 100 yards and drops them dead every single time. I am comfortable out to 250 yards with this but almost never see anything at that range. I now know why people have raved about the 45 70 for the last 130+ years.
