I'm not so much looking for a 300 Savage as a easy/fast handling "in the thick stuff rifle" that can still reach out there 300+ yards in a pinch. A 6x42 Luepold with turrets is going to go on whatever I end up with. I like levers but can't help think the 7600 might be a better animal.
