The 8bore we did on NEf is nearly twice as heavy so that
the 1040gr slug at 1800 would recoil about the same.
The 4bore is 28lbs, thick pad, thumbhole grip,so it
ain't bad. If you can hold it up to shoot it,
you can handle recoil ok.Ed
