Some thoughts that might be just wild goose chase though. J.D, Jones has some experience with smithing the alloy barrels. Don't know if any of it would relate to the pivot mount or your alloy. Could be some info there though.

Another thought - Some sleeve barrels for the NEF frame and the Encore Frame. Have seen some of these shoot, and they really do the accuracy thing. Being said, all of those had "expert" sleeving, chambering and throating though. We are talking .200 and .300 on centers here with reloads. Top breaks have an "issue" with sizing reloaded cases on the headspace thing, and also know this is a consideration when doing this type of work for accuracy, AND chamber pressure considerations.

May be goose chase, but just some some thoughts here.
