Mule Deer, thanks for the response. I tried 160 grain Speer Hot Cores before the Partitions, but couldn't get the Speers to group worth a hoot. I think they'd have been a fine bullet at 7X57 velocities, but "patterned" more than grouped. I'm talking 3"+ at 100 yds. Sure happy with the Partitions and also use them in my 270 Win and 25-06. Those rifles usually stay in the safe though. P.S. I lived in Helena briefly in 2012-2013. Always ben a fan of your writing and hoped I'd run into you at Capital Sports, but alas, my bad luck. It would have been a pleasure to say "Hi". I was a member of the Prickly Pear Gun Club and have shot in Townsend too with a buddy of mine from Montana City who is a member of Broadwater Gun Club.
