Can't help on the 270 and 130's, maybe around 60grs of 4831?


Using these figures it worked out to

270 Winchester 130 Grain approx Velocity 3050 FPS
19.23 Foot pounds Recoil

30-06 Springfield 150 grain Approx Velocity 2900 FPS
21.13 Foot pounds Recoil

30-06 Springfield 165 Grain Approx Velocity 2800 FPS
22.12 Foot pounds Recoil

This for an 8 pound rifle.


for a 7 pound rifle
270 -130 gr-21.98 FT Pounds

30-06-150-24.14 Ft Pounds
30-06-165-25.28 FT pounds
