Mennonites are different than Amish in a lot of ways although in this part of the state the two are usually found living in close proximity to each other. They do tend to keep to themselves but the Mennonites I've talked to didn't care much for Amish and weren't bashful about it either. The funny thing is, most of the drivers for Amish work crews are Mennonites who are usually former Amish who have crossed over to the "dark side" and are despised by the Amish for it, but, still used by the Amish for transportation. Go figure!
