I was just further addressing some of the "private property" scenarios.

Lotta folks don't understand the intent angle either. Not sure about Iowa, but some states having the keys in the vehicle while "sleeping it off" has been taken as "intent" to drive. Folks I know have set their keys on a nearby fencepost, or under a rock. But getting in a vehicle, after leaving the bar, and backing it down a driveway sure shows intent to this potential juror.

I'll not convict the girl yet, but as you and a couple of others have pointed out.......... there's likely a whole lot more to the story..........from both sides.
