One can pick the closet drunk drivers out by their statements.
It's so obvious if you have the experience of being around the type.

It's not just about money.
It's about hurting innocent people.
DUI offenders are random murderers.
Like a Serial Killer, but they don't even have a type.

So sadly amusing really.
Family gets wiped out. "It's so saaaad"!
A friend gets busted 3x the limit,
after hitting a mailbox,
on the left side. "
It's all about money, he didn't hurt nobody."

Property rights are sacred to me.
So much so, that they should be limited if your
actions threaten another, or their property.

Discretion is the key to proper enforcement, and it can swing
both ways.

Moving a car in a driveway?

Shouldn't bother her.

But if she is backing down the driveway and you don't stop her?
If you do, you are an ass.
If you don't, and she was leaving because she had realized
she needed to be somewhere? The cops ass is fried if she hurt someone.

I hope she doesn't beat this clean.
I dam sure hope her dad doesn't pay a penny of her costs.

I also hope she can preserve her license and job.
To lose them would be a bigger burden than she deserves
based on what happened.

I'm sure not an angel. Not close.
But when my livelihood depended on my CDL, I would not
drink a single drink and drive. I knew the risks, and there was no
way it was worth it. Can't begin to understand those that
don't see this. Driving is not my main income anymore, and I still
don't drink more than ONE and drive. And one, is 1.

If this would affect her job, I'm sure she knew it.
As unfortunate as losing her license would be,
she wasn't truly worried about that.

Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
