The riot context is a contributing factor in interpreting the intent of one of its participants (in this case, Rosenbaum) vis a vis his target.



I didn't say this from the get-go. In hindsight I could have, but I find an odd pleasure in watching people make idiotic assumptions when I ask a simple question.

I would have felt like I was in imminent danger of death or grave bodily harm, but I'll be damned if I can articulate how based on what I have seen. If I were asked why I thought the one small person who rushed me unarmed represented a threat of death or grave bodily injury, I don't know how I'd answer that question.

"Because he had thrown something at me and was part of a mob."

As I play the spin-off questions in my mind, it gets kinda blurry.
