A lot of us started off with Leupold for quite a while until better products became available and we were able to test them against our "trusted" Leupolds... at least we were able to admit there were better scopes available after testing other products for ourselves... and realized we didn't have to put up with Leupold's shortcomings any more...

Your shortcoming have nothing to do with Leupold.
