Mule Deer has written, more than once, about how he basically gave up on Leupold after experiencing so many issues. IME he’s not prone to peer pressure, nor worried about what the cool kids are doing.

I see he’s giving them another shot with some positive comments about a VX-5, 2-10 IIRC. Had one of those myself and liked it a lot, but the paint in the etched reticle started bleeding over onto the clear glass, looked like hair, which was distracting. They fixed it, but after reading of repeat performances of the same issue after being repaired, I sold it to a local member and went Trijicon. Otherwise, it was a very nice scope, with a good feature set and “great glass” as they say, and no issues while being zeroed.

What fresh Hell is this?
