Calvin...same, same with me. I call it the Leupi 2 step.

Adjust, shoot, then shoot again to see where it settles in, rinse and repeat. Too many times to remember thru the years. PITA, honestly. Turns into a 10 shot plus experience to dial it in.

That was on my son's 7mag, was trying to dial it in post load work up. Scope is a vx3 3.5x10x40 b&c.

Same day I had a Vortex Razor lht on my 280ai.

Made 1 adjustment to move poi left and down. Tracked exactly as it should have. Took a couple more shots, .5" clover leaf exactly where I wanted it.....done.

Guess I need to buy a Burns Long Range Leupold Mallet ( LRLM) to get the leupis to settle after adjustment.
