I don't know where the myth of Weatherby calibers being 'inaccurate' ever came from. My two MkV's are easily among the most accurate rifles I own.
That myth comes from people with little to no experience with Weatherbys. Mostly observers at the range watching someone scared to death of his first magnum.
Learned that by shooting their rifles to show there is nothing wrong with them.
