To be honest, I've been somewhat disappointed in the accuracy of the rifle. I generally do not keep rifles that will not group at least 1" at 100 yds. I've never been a big 280 Rem. fan, but I got the rifle at about 50% of MSRP. I've tried 140's and 150's of several different makers using several powders. I free floated the fore-arm. I'm a rifle slut and lost interest for a while. I took the scope off and put it on a sweet Cooper Montana Varminter in 7mm-08. Thinking I'm gonna give it another try between now and rifle season. I picked up a couple Leupold VX-3's in 4.5-14 x 40 CDS's. Will get some 1" rings and play. If it works I'll post pix of perforated porkers. If not I'll blow it out.
