They've got hurds of them grazing like cattle up there.

The late 80's and early 90's were good in N.E. Pa. Now there are fewer deer and plenty of turkeys as you mentioned, When I left in 2009 I had not seen a deer while hunting the previous two seasons in my area with somewhat limited time to hunt.
