Nice shooting, But I will say that most barrel makers that I have spoke with, have always said that stiffer contours shoot better consistently, FWIW!
Consistently; how?
1. Day after day with only 1-2 shots fired at any one time?
2. Same day with numerous rounds through the barrel while working up a load or practicing. Warm to hot barrel here.
3. Or maybe in that "target rich environment" where touching your barrel will hurt?
I agree that for #3 and more than likely #2, a heavy or "heavier" barrel is in order but for #1, a light barrel will be accurate enough as long as proper load development occurs and it hits same POI day after day.
