Tanner, no doubt. Get older like me and you just enjoy shooting the milder rounds more, and you can shoot more rounds in a day w/o ill effect. In the field, experience teaches horsepower is nice, but far overestimated, while shot placement simply rules, I know you know this......but after I dropped a deer at 400 yds w/a 6BR, I realized alot of guys are just punishing their ears and shoulders far more than needed to hunt America's most popular game. I know out west, things are different, and you have bears to think about, so needs can change.

You prob heard, but Wayne Van Zwoll shot an elk at just over 600 yds w/a Creedmoor using a 129SST IIRC. Worked about as well as JOC's fav...270/130. Granted he precisely threaded the SST where it should go, and all went fine. I'd prob never shoot that far, but it's interesting to know...
