That means nothing, and is normal operation for a lot of pistols. Don't read too much into it.


and then again lateral thrust on the MIM firing pin nipple may be something that the SIG engineers did not enter into their calculations. Time will tell, but with two breakages that I know of, and out of a small number of pistols you have to wonder if they considered this. If LS makes a machined tool striker I will buy one. I still like the pistol.
