Folks can spin it how ever they want but the way I see it Trump caved. Pelosi just showed him and the whole country who runs things and it ain’t him. He boasted about how he’d leave it shutdown for a year if need be but he’d been steadily back peddling ever since while the democrats held the line. Kinda like he boasted Mexico would be paying for it. Chances of ever getting Congress to work a deal to build a wall in the next 3 weeks are less than 0. Then what’s he going to do? Get his pen out? For what purpose, the courts will shut it down. This was his only chance and he caved.
Oh well, at least we got a couple justices out of it.
