Back in 76, right after a divorce and remarried, we were dirt poor.I kept three does and a buck rabbits that I kept bred and raised more and that is about all the meat we ate. Did that for about three years. Prior to that while living in NM, my cousin was milker at a dairy. We would buy old dairy cows for 3 cents pound live weight and pay a half cent /pound to have them slaughtered. I can tell you, those rabbits tasted and ate a lot better than those old dairy cows and pinto beans that we bought for $11 a hundred pounds.

If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles
