AGREED 100% about liver. - I once (in college DAZE long ago), ran many set limblines, hooks & trotlines so that we "could eat regularly" & pay for college expenses.
(My then lady, APRIL, spent every afternoon "peddling catfish, dressed to order" out of the bed of my old International Scout.)
Liver, to me, is FISH BAIT & the smell of it "as human food" repels me.
