Thanks Calvin that was an interesting read.... the conclusion wolves and deer cannot both survive on an island..... In the lower 48 we aren't on an island and when the wolves wipe out a local population they are free to move on... and they do. Then the destruction starts all over ..... and around it goes. Before freeways and subdivisions etc..... the animals had a chance to flee. The brilliant biologist failed to foresee this unintended consequence....
