In other words, what is normal (and ethical) for me, given the society and family I was raised in, may not be normal to those raised in a different society/family? (.eg. "Drug Lords and Dictators" )

As I mentioned before, it's not a one way street, and the delima must be considered from all side, that of drug dealer, victim, and user, parent of user, and the gun owners who share space in the same society with the drug dealer, and users, but do not participate directly from either side.
