You have the same problem with Christianity. There's over 30,000 sects, each with their own moral teachings. Let me remind you, Nancy Pelosi's a Catholic. Most Christians let their women speak in church, and don't require them to cover their hair. Christians can't even agree on Homosexuality.
There's only one church founded by Christ with the fullness of His teaching authority. The Catholic church. I'll let you decide which one culturally fits you the best, the basic teachings are all but identical. The authority of the Pope is the biggest difference of any significance between them.
Nancy Pelosi isn't practicing Catholic teaching in a lot of her views. For instance, she doesn't follow Church teaching on abortion so blaming that on the Church is putting the cart before the horse. You certainly wouldn't explain Hindu teaching by pointing out a Hindu cattle processor as an example, would you?
First, I don't accept your assertion that any organization was founded by a being you would call Christ/God/Lord/Father/ etc. I see a lot of men attempting to claim the right to enforce their interpretation of their favored myths, be them Hinduisms, Islam, Christian, or Peruvian pagans praying to the mountain gods. Your favored myth just happens to be a particularly homophobic version of Christianity, a bias that you are unable to explain beyond claims "god says so". Since you have no good evidence for your alleged god, you have no moral system.
