If one commits to it, one can dress around damned near any handgun. Such commitment might mean wearing more clothes than you'd normally like. Perhaps you can find some breathable options that wouldn't leave you too hot, but if you're committed to it, you'll find a way.
I can easily & comfortably dress to conceal a full-sized Sig, along with 2 spare magazines... for weather < 60 degrees. The rest of the time, I've got a pocket mouse. The latter certainly ain't a world-beater, but I can wield it quickly & effectively (Crimson Trace grips are helpful here), and I certainly wouldn't wanna be on the receiving end of it.
Unsaid above is that the commitment must also apply to practice and proficiency with the handgun being carried, as well as the chosen defense ammo.
