Here in NJ, it's shotguns only. No rifles except muzzleloaders. Where I hunt, near the Delaware Bay, it's heavy cover, few shot opportunities past 75 yards or so. I carry a Winchester 1300, 12 ga. rifled barrel w/fiber optic sights. Most accurate shotgun I have ever fired.
For those rare out-of-state trips, it's a Ruger M77 tanger in . 257 Roberts.
