Western Wa but mainly hunt open AG fields on the east side of the state. My main deer rifle is a 6.5 saum and 140 Berger’s or 147 eld-m’s. Recently working up a new 300 Norma Improved with 230 Berger OTM’s as a packable big rifle. For elk and bears in the open where I don’t have to carry it far I use a 338 edge with 300 bergers. For tight country on the west side it’s usually my 300 wsm and 155 scenars or partitions but shots are rarely over 300 yds.
