I'm hunting white tails and black bear in Michigan. In recent years I've just used scoped bolt actions. 7x57, .30-'06, and 8x57 for deer. For black bear I'm using a 700 in 350 Rem. Mag., but only because I found one in great condition for a good price. I ended up liking the rifle more than I expected, and had to find a use for it.
