Texas Hill Country. Deer, hogs, misc exotics. Short action rifle in any cartridge with a reputable bullet will kill them all. I use 260/308/7-08/6.5CM. The difference for me is the optic. If I’m hunting the big open spaces, I’ve got scope with 15-16x top end. For tighter cover under 200 yards or in the trees, It’s a 2.5-10 or similar.
