But the biggest lie is the lie of omission, which is that the vast, vast majority of owners charge at home for a fraction of that cost, or at work. Because they charge at home or work, EV owners spend much less time “fueling” than ICE vehicle owners.

Perhaps you could tell us what impact to the already stressed electric grids, if say.... half the country had EV's and ran home after work and plugged them all in?
They don't charge by the minute. They charge by the KWH. BIG difference.
I checked EV charging rates here. Tesla charges .16/kwh. Others are from .32 to .45/kwh
