Perhaps before you degrade someone, you should do some research first.

I know a Green Beret from Vietnam who won't talk about his service and damn sure wouldn't post pics on the internet.

Maybe he was actually in combat and did things that scarred him?

The salesman I bought my last truck from had a SF ring on. My wife (20+ year vet) recognized it and mentioned it.

He very casually mentioned that he'd been shot 3x and blown up 2x before being medically retired. Some guys have BTDT.
